Authentic Bay Rum Aftershave formulated with award winning New Zealand Rum, organic plant oils and vitamins
We worked hard to create the most authentic Bay Rum fragrance to complete our aftershave formula, this includes using rum distilled right here in New Zealand at the award winning Black Collar Distillery. Infused with our proprietary blend of superior quality essential oils, including West Indies Bay, Blood Orange & Tobacco, this dark, spicy & long lasting aroma embodies the original bay rum spirit with a modern twist.
Key Ingredients:
New Zealand Rum- Antibacterial, antiseptic, astringent. Closes pores and invigorates, delivering the timeless experience of a classic barbershop shave.
Organic Green Tea oil - A rich source of antioxidants and a moisture replenishing oil to combat the look of fine lines and wrinkles and soothe dry flaky skin.
Organic Glycerine – A powerful humectant drawing moisture into the skin to hydrate and soften it helping to strengthen the skins natural barrier.
Provitamin B-5- Beneficial for all skin types including sensitive and dry skin. Helps reduce trans epidermal water loss and calms irritation.

How to use
After shaving, pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Shake the bottle thoroughly to ensure all ingredients and fragrance are evenly blended.
Splash a dime sized amount into your palm and rub between your hands.
Gently pat the aftershave onto your face and neck. Do not rub vigorously.
Let the aftershave sit and air-dry on your skin. Follow with moisturiser if using.
Can also be used has a hair tonic.
We use Black Collar Rum in our formula. Produced at their distillery in the Bay of Islands, Black Collar Rum is a small batch, light golden rum. Pot distilled, then aged in oak to give it smoothness and just the right amounts of flavour notes from the charred wood. Visit them at Black Collar Distillery
AFTERSHAVE
Bay Rum is the oldest scent in the barbershop — born when West Indies sailors steeped bay leaves in rum centuries ago. Ours stays true to that origin: real award-winning New Zealand rum from Black Collar Distillery in the Bay of Islands, blended with West Indies Bay, blood orange and tobacco for a dark, spicy, long-lasting aroma. The rum isn't only for the scent — it's a natural astringent that closes pores and invigorates, while organic green tea oil and glycerine draw moisture back into skin the razor just stripped. Pat it on, let it air-dry, and the ritual finishes the way it began: deliberate.
BEARD OILS
Built on organic jojoba oil — which mirrors the skin's own sebum, so it sinks in fast and never sits greasy on top — then layered with argan, safflower and marula oils plus vitamin E. Worked through the beard it conditions from root to tip: the dryness goes, the itch goes, and what's left is a softer beard and healthier-looking skin underneath.
